Good Morning!

The clouds were laying low over the Ararat valley this morning. Pilot Mountain in the distance pokes it's familiar profile arrogantly through the mists. Aircraft contrails write their graffiti across the Carolina Blue sky and the Lord blesses us with the most perfect of days.

Beautiful photo, the contrails on the right seem to have made an asterisk - wonder what was left out? :) ec

I love it when a lone peak pokes its noggin through the clouds like that; it’s beautiful, and mystical! What a great view that is…looks like a good place from which to watch a distant thunderstorm.

Beautiful view. Too bad the chemtrails where in the sky even though they add a little something to the image. I like what you said about why you are in NC. Tampa BAy is becoming one big center for commerce and business.

I lived in Sarasota from 1980-1989. It is nothing like I remember it. If I had the money, I would buy a home in NC like you did. It must be paradise. Then you could enjoy fla like a tourist. Just see the beaches and nothing else.

Oh, this guy "Roblimo" I think is losing his mind. He now has a second comment on my little kitty kat post. This time about shelters for Republicans? He's paying me the greatist compliment possible. Knowing that I said something that set him off. He is either on drugs or he's losing his mind.

That's just God, ec, saying "Check this out".
This is our view from Groundhog Mountain, DL, it's a great place to watch most anything. Actually this is taken across the street. We have the view in winter when the leaves are gone.
Yeah, Tim, the great thing is the rest of my family is still in St. Pete so we can vacation there whenever we want. We're really in Virginia but the view is of NC. If I fell off the mountain I'd land in Mt. Airy. You can still buy a place around here for under 70 thousand but they're going fast.

You almost have a perfect star up in the sky. No wonder you grabbed your camera. Nice.

Thanks, Bonita, I think there's a highway for aircraft over us.
