Update On lem

It seems our stray dog, Liam, (also known as Lem) has moved on. He was AWOL Wedneasday when we arrived home from work and was nowhere to be seen Thursday or since. It's funny (peculiar) how beings come into our lives and then as suddenly as they came, go leaving only pleasant memories. We wanted to give the dog to our Baltimore family but they declined to take him. I think the reason he showed up was he wanted to visit the city and when he didn't get too, he moved on. We just hope he's OK.

Perhaps Lem is The Littlest Hobo? Every stop he makes, he makes a new friend. But he can't say for long, just turns around and he's gone again.

The Littlest Hobo Song (Right Click and Save)

The song is almost my motto in life (LOL)

Ahhh, that makes you a bit sad don't it? You get attached to them so easily when they are a such a good individs.

Ah, well, we wish him a happy life, whereever he goes and hope his journey is safe!

A beautiful lab once came to the store where I worked. He had been on the road awhile and his ears were covered in ticks. I pulled them all out and washed the wounds with alcohol; he patiently waited. He stayed around a couple of days and I finally took him home. He was gone the next morning and someone saw him heading calmly down the mountain, probably toward home.
