Groundfog Mountain
Fog and rain on the mountain today.
Small earthquake, 2.2 on the Richter scale, down below in Winston-Salem, the town made famous by the tobacco industry.
Blogger won't let me download the picture I want.
Is it just me or does Condollezza Rice look about 10 years older in the last few days.
Population of USA hits 300 million today.
Time to fix sandwiches for lunch.

That is a beautiful photo! I love it! So dreamy.
Is it of any meaning that I mention that we have passed 9 millions over here....? *lol*
I really don't know why anyone would want those high profile political jobs, Ally, especially when it means missing time for botox.
I just wish we had only 9 million, Mrs. L. My gosh we've got people all over the place. That's why we like it up here on our mountain, not many people.
Is that mountain laurel in the foreground? ec
All the media is yaking about how great the 300 mil mark is.
Are they nuts?
Yes, very cool photo, Macbean.
Rhododendrons, Mr. E. We have a lot of mountain laurel but the rhodies are ubiqutious.
Hi Patty, nice to hear from you. And they're all moving to Texas!
Thanks for the good comments on the photo, everyone. Occasioally the $2.00 digital camera does work.

(Mutterings: "I knew I should have just sent one bottle at time...."
I love the way you put the peacefull simplicity of a nature scene next to all those crazy human incidents (the earthquake aside, and the pleasure of fixing some sandwiches). 300 Million? Waaay too many.
